Always a pleasant atmosphere and great food! I also enjoy the fact that the Ruby Slipper promotes inclusion by employing special needs staff members.

It was our first time at this location and my experience was great! We needed something quick and tasty which Ruby Slipper always delivers when the cravings kick in. The staff was friendly and offered us a seat in or out so, we chose to enjoy the weather which we are glad we did. The tables were clean and our waitress was quick with ttaking our drink order. She was upbeat and super friendly which started our experience start off great! She was knowledgeable about their menu and answered all of our questions. She recommended a few items based on my husband's seafood allergy and made it her responsibility to point of things he would enjoy. We ended up going with all of her recommendations because it was out of our norm. The items recommended were definitely flavorful which we expect when we venture to one of the establishments. We had about a 10 mintue wait after ordering to receive our appetizers which was pretty good. After finishing our first courses, it took about 10 minutes after picking up the dishes to receive our order. This was lighting fast conconsidering the atmosphere of many lively people filling up majority of the seats. The food temperatures were great and everything was correct. She made sure to catch refills before they were completely gone and checked in at a comfortable pace. I will definitely be back to this location as I have come to prefer it over the others due to the no wait. When I return I'll opt offer an inside location and review that space as well. Great experience!

Ruby Slippers is a must-try brunch spot in New Orleans, and for good reason--it's a local favorite for a reason. There's something on the menu for everyone, the food is consistently delicious, and the service is top-notch (shoutout to our server John). Be prepared for a bit of a wait during peak brunch hours, but trust me, it's totally worth it. On this visit, we made sure to try the ROASTED SWEET POTATO SEASONAL BEIGNETS, and they were absolutely amazing--definitely a must-order. For an appetizer, we went with the FRIED GREEN TOMATOES, which were topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and bacon jam. Honestly, this could've been an entrée on its own! By the time my main course arrived, I was already pretty full, but I went ahead with the PEACEMAKER, which lets you mix and match two of their benedicts. I opted for the BAYOU SHRIMP and ST. CHARLES, and while I may have bitten off more than I could chew, everything was so delicious that I'm glad I had a chance to try it all. Ruby Slippers never disappoints, and I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in town. Also, they're pet-friendly on the patio at this location, which is a nice bonus!

My sister and I walked in & immediately was freezing, so we decided to sit outside. Well it was cold there too, but the owners came to put the heaters on.... but then they were out of propane!! Y'all why did the boss go to the gas stations to purchase propane for us to use the heaters!!!! That was EXTREMELY kind!! Food 10/10 and our server was just great as well. We will definitely be back!!

I've always been a fan of Ruby Slipper. This was my first time at their Vets location. It was very nice. I came on Christmas Eve Eve afternoon and there was no wait. The service was splendid and the food was delicious. Ruby Slipper has always done right by me and this location was no different.

I cannot express how much I loved Ruby Slipper. First and foremost, the people are fantastic. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like family. I love that. Our daughters enjoyed tasty hot chocolate and a family friendly menu. The pork loaded tots were a great shareable starter and my biscuits and gravy were delicious. We will absolutely be back!

I love Ruby Slipper and have been waiting to try the newest one. Joined the Waitlist on the way and we were seated within 5 minutes of arriving. Instead of my usual flight mimosa, I tried one of the drink specials, the Boo Rita! It did not disappoint! We had the Loaded tots and OMG they were amazing! The braised pork was tender and juicy and the tots and sauce were delicious. We did try another Fall special, the Costa Rican breakfast. I'd have to give it a 7 out of 10. The rice was a bit undercooked but the chorizo sausage was amazing. The service was good. Server was friendly and attentive. This definitely is not a place to go if you don't like loud restaurants. It was extremely loud but I expected that. All in all I do love Ruby Slipper.
